Training
Chloe has 10 years experience in the industry and 7 years ago decided to train for her teachers qualification and now runs training courses at the salon. Training courses can be booked on dates that are best suited to you but most commonly run on Mondays & Tuesdays. Chloe offers intense day courses in the following; manicure, pedicure, gel polish, builder gel, acrylic, lash extensions, lash lift, brow shape and tint, waxing and spray tan. Training days include anatomy and physiology theory, industry health and safety, contra-indications and aftercare, technician tips and industry knowledge, students will work on live models in a salon environment and sit a short test before receieving a certificate. Ongoing support is available. ABT accredit our courses and a discount code for insurance with them will be issued upon completion of one of our courses.

Spray tan - £100
1 day course 10am - 2pm
Spray tanning is such a profitable treatment, you’d be crazy not the have it on your price list! In only 15 minutes you can earn £15-£20 (that being mostly profit!) Perfect for beginners, students must be at least 16 years of age to enrol and obtain insurance with ABT. Students should be able to communicate, read and write in English. Body waxing - £150
1 day course 9am - 5pm
This course will teach you how to wax using warm wax and strip techniques. The areas you will cover are as follows: leg, underarm, eyebrow, facial waxing and bikini line. Please note, we do not offer courses in intimate waxing such as Brazilian/Hollywood. Perfect for beginners, students must be at least 16 years of age to enrol and obtain insurance with ABT. Eyebrow shape and tint, lash tint - £100
One day course 9am - 2pm
Learn how to tint eyelashes and brow hair, wax, shape and trim eyebrows. We will train you in the following colours: natural brown, dark brown, grey, black and blue black, you will be shown how to apply tint correctly, how long to leave it on for and how to remove unwanted tint stains. You will learn how to frame a clients face with their brows and remove hair accordingly. Perfect for beginners, students must be at least 16 years of age to enrol and obtain insurance with ABT. A lash lift and tint is the perfect treatment to offer your clients a more natural, subtle enhancement. It’s the alternative to extensions and perfect for holidays, regular gym goers or simply for those who want the look of mascara without the fuss. Manicure and pedicure course - £200

New to the industry? Start with the basics of a manicure and pedicure! This course will teach you how to file, shape and cut nails, how to trim cuticles and push them back correctly to have a better surface to work on. You will be shown how to exfoliate hands and feet, how to apply a mask and carry out hand/foot massages. You will learn how to apply nail varnish using base coat, colour and top coat. Acrylic nails (using tips) £250
One day course 9am – 5pm
Learn the art of acrylic using tips or as a natural overlay. You will be shown how to build an apex, how to apply acrylic correctly, how to blend acrylic and monomer to powder ratio. You will be taught how to infill and remove. You will be taught French and ombre. To enrol on this course you must have a qualification in manicure or level 2 beauty/nails. Builder gel application - £150
One day course 9am-4pm

Builder gel (also known as BIAB or BOB) is a gel with a brush; it has a thicker viscosity which is used to create length and strength. Builder can be applied as an overlay on the natural nail, as a base coat or extended, it lasts 2-3 weeks and requires more time and skill than gel polish which is thinner. During this course you will be shown how to work with a builder product, how to infill and remove. You will be shown how to extend using tips.

You must hold a qualification recognised by ABT in a manicure or level 2 beauty to enrol on the builder application course. Otherwise please enrol on our manicure and pedicure. Gel polish application - £120

Learn how to complete a manicure or pedicure with the industry must have; GEL POLISH! We will show you how to apply gel correctly and how to remove it. You will be taught colour application, French using pink and white, how to encapsulate glitter, how to foil, marble and basic flower design. Troubleshoot gel durability and learn industry top tips! This course requires students to have a manicure qualification or level 2 beauty before enrolling, if you do not have either qualification please choose the manicure and pedicure course which is perfect for beginners. Classic eyelash application £150
Volume lashes £200
One day course (each) 9am – 5pm
Learn how to create a classic lash set using the ‘one on one’ application method. You will be shown how to isolate other lashes and apply the extension correctly, how to infill and how to remove. The volume course includes all of the above + how to make lash fans using the pinching method, how to create a ‘fluffy’ looking lash set, how to layer lashes neatly and safely. The classic lash course is perfect for beginners, to enrol on the volume course you must have a qualification in classic (one on one) lashes that is recognised by ABT. I want to train in both classic and volume lashes, can I combine the course?
We do not offer combined courses for eyelash extensions as we believe it is best to practice classic application for a few weeks to become confident before learning the more advanced skill of ‘fans.’ We only allow students to enrol on our volume lash course once they are competent in classics. We recommend 6-8 weeks between the courses.
What if I leave the course and don’t feel confident enough to work on the public?
Working confidently in any treatment in the beauty industry will take time and practice. That’s why we always advise that you take insurance out straight away and offer discounts to model clients whilst you build up a portfolio! We will never pass a student who isn’t producing the work we’d expect to work on a client. We offer ongoing support and guidance.
I have an online qualification in manicures; can you accept this to enrol on the gel application course?
Online courses have to be in-depth and industry approved, that’s why we only accept online course qualifications that have been accredited by ABT or recognised by them as suitable. If you are unsure send it through to us and we can check with our accreditation provider.
Do you offer discount if I was to book two or more courses?
This is something we can offer, the courses would need to be taken within a three month period and by the same student. Please email for more information

Do I need to bring anything?
​
You will be given a notepad and pen to make notes, you will be given a training booklet to take home. On the day you will be supplied with everything you need to carry out the treatment you are training in whilst you work on a live model. You will be given the options to either buy a kit from Honey Rose or guided to the best suppliers.

Will we get a break?
​
You will get a break if your course is longer than 4 hours, hot and cold drinks will be supplied.
